A crucial part of my project is a long-term residency in MeetFactory a cultural institution placed in Prague (Czech Republic) where I am supporting Artists In Residence Program. Through working on residences and cultural mobility I'm gathering knowledge and experience necessary for further parts of the project.
For more then half a year of working as a co-curator for AiR program I'm focusing on the partnership with Poland and residences of two polish artists: Szymon Kobylarz and Kuba Woynarowski. In particular those artists as a representatives of a generation born in '80 have been experiencing changes that are consider to be a mile stones for the history of the region.
Established by well known artists David Černý in 2001 Meet Factory, a part from residency program, contains three separate galleries, music hall and an experimental theater. The institution remains one of the biggest institution that provides a residency program for the artists. To apply you can follow the website for annually Open Call.
